Our Story
Experience the art of premium loose-leaf tea with ARTEA The Tea Merchant. At ARTEA, we are passionate about all things tea! Our goal is to create unique artisan blends that take the tea drinker on a journey, offering a special tea experience.
Using only pure organic ingredients, we curate blends with the aim of bringing together ingredients in a synergistic balance, where the end product is unique to the individual parts.
Since 2018, many of our blends have been nationally awarded over several categories at the annual Golden Leaf Tea Awards in Melbourne, Australia.

Tea may be one of the most widely enjoyed beverages in the world, but its production is anything but sustainable.
With a tertiary education in Botany and Environmental Sustainability, I have made social and environmental responsibility key brand ethics here at ARTEA, and apply them at all stages of the products’ life cycle.
We strive to source only USDA & ACO Certified Organic botanicals and teas, as well as from socially responsible origins whenever available.
Our packaging is also eco-friendly! We have sourced beautiful glass containers and offer refills to these containers in compostable tea pouches.
Sunshine Coast Owned and Operated
Since 2018, we have been supplying coastal cafes, restaurants and retail outlets with our boutique tea range. Today we not only supply locally to the Sunshine Coast region, but further afield in Queensland as well as interstate!
In 2020, we opened the doors to our boutique tea shop and tea house, ARTEA The Tea Merchant, in Caloundra. And late last year, 2022, we won Queensland’s Best Tea House at the National Golden Leaf Tea Awards in Melbourne!
